Barbara Kane

Commissioner Kane is the head of the Freedom City Police Department, answering to Mayor O’Connor. She doesn’t like politicians, but respects that O’Connor rarely gets in the way of her doing her job.

She comes from a long line of good cops; her father, uncle, and grandfather were all police officers. She’s been a cop her entire professional life, so she knows what it’s like on the streets and working cases. Since assuming the position of Commissioner she’s dedicated herself and the department to cracking down on organized crime, as is extremely frustrated about the recent war that has broken out between Johnny Oliverti and the Russian mob.
